At the supermarket....

where after I entered, I have suddenly felt, like Alice in the Wonderland.

You wonder why and what makes me feel this way?

I know, it’s all around us in most of the countries, the huge and wide choice of products that we can get.

There is no limit, what to taste, once you have the money for it!
Nothing can stop you to try and get either the hundreds products of fish as well as the vegetables, the olives and the spices, you can use to enrich your meal, the one, you decide to eat today.

I know, no matter where you are, in which country:
- where is peace,
- where there are all the things produces for our comfortable living.

Here, now in one local supermarket in France:
wandering among the shelves filled with colorful products, where one looks nicer and I bet is more delicious than the other, I feel like in the merry –go- rounds.

My head is dizzy out of the wide choice that surrounds me.

I don’t know, where to look and being at another place than the one you are used to, here you have the time to observe and look at the ordinary things in a different way too.

As such, you are as well discovering the other culture , where now, temporarily, you belong to.

Take an example of the items I face here:

A simple mustard, which is nicely filled in a wine shaped glass, the baguettes in different sizes on the shelves, the pates, the milk products, the spices and of course the sector just for wines are only a few of all, I see while walking among and around.

While listening to the peaceful music, however, I am not really thinking about our lunch, as I remember and think of all those, innocent people in the Third World, who have nothing to eat today.

Looking around, I see smiling faces, stopping and choosing calmly their favorite product or maybe something new to taste this day.
Here I stop and think, is there anyone of these people who realizes what special gift they have?

In the ordinary life, they are surrounded by all these rich and delicious items.
However, my heart feels pain, toward those, who die daily because of the hunger.

…I pray and I ask silently, God, why?

Why we are luckier to get this all and why there are those, less fortunate to get only a tiny, little portion to survive?

- Has it all been decided by our destiny?
- Has it all have been written well in advance?
..and if so…could I, Us? help them?

Well, these were my feelings, I had, while shopping today and I thought to share it with you, my dear readers.

If we cant help to our fellows, who cant choose and live a better way, at least I wanted to make YOU stop and to realize, what luxury we all have in our everyday!

Thank you God, for forwarding and giving us all, we can experience…but mostly the peace! – we live in.

We are grateful, thank you!
